Coffee Info/story: Tutule Natural is a regional coffee lot from San Pedro de Tutule, La Paz, Honduras, an amazing coffee-growing zone within the Montecillos region. More than 5 producers from this region contributed to this lot, with their farms averaging 14 hectares in size, at elevations ranging from 1,400–1,650 m.a.s.l. This region is known for growing IHCAFE 90, Catuai, and Catimor varieties.
This Natural lot begins with careful hand-picking of ripe cherries, which are then fermented for 48–72 hours without water. The cherries are then laid to sun-dry on raised beds for 15 to 18 days, depending on the weather.
The lot is brought to you by our exporting partners in Honduras, CONEXH (Corporación Exportadora de Café de Origen Natural de Honduras), a family-owned company founded in 2021.
They are on the mission of elevating Honduran coffee quality through quality farming practices while reducing agrochemical use and strengthening social impact in La Paz’s highlands.
We started working with CONEXH in 2025, and we already know this partnership will keep on delivering Honduran goodness. - The Coffee Quest
